Bartlehill is situated in a rural location halfway between Kelso and Coldstream with stunning views over the Cheviot Hills.
10 minutes drive to either town
Directions: (on the A698) heading towards Kelso, take the right signposted to Eccles. Pass the park on your right, and the village hall on your left, continue on this winding road for just under two miles, pass the stone entrance to Lewislaw on your left, (Ignore your SatNav which will ask you to turn right, and at the top of small hill take the left signposted to Bartlehill. Continue along this tree lined drive and follow the road which bears to the right and goes around the farm. No. 4 is the last cottage on the right.
Greenloaning is on the edge of the conservation village of Alanton in the heart of the Scottish Borders
15 minutes to Berwick upon Tweed Railway Station with trains to Edinburgh and south to Newcastle/London
Directions: The cottage is down a small lane off the middle of the village, on the opposite side of the road to the pub, and a bit further down (south). Pass Blackadder drive and it’s the next turn off the main road. You will see two round flower tubs on the pavement. Turn in between these tubs and we are the far cottage at the end.
